DISCLOSURE

The featured projects are self-initiated concepts created to demonstrate Front Door Studio’s design approach. They do not represent real client engagements, and no results or endorsements are implied.

Seabrook concept — coastal house terrace overlooking the sea in morning light
Concept photography direction: calm, honest rooms—light and texture over staged symmetry.
01ASSUMED BUSINESS CHALLENGE

A guest-house stay is often planned weeks ahead, across several evenings and devices. This concept assumes a familiar problem: rooms hidden in a gallery of unlabelled photographs, and booking that quietly depends on a phone call during office hours.

The assumed brief: show each room honestly, make the location part of the appeal, and let a guest start an enquiry the moment they decide.

02VISITOR QUESTIONS
Q1What are the rooms actually like?
Q2Where is it, and what is nearby?
Q3What does a night cost, and what is included?
Q4How do I ask a question or book?

05KEY DESIGN DECISIONS
01

Rooms as named places

Each room has a name, its own photographs, a price and what is included—not a position in an anonymous swipe gallery.

02

Location as content, not a footer map

The walk to the sea, the town and how to arrive are treated as part of choosing the stay, with their own page.

03

An enquiry designed for thumbs

Dates, party size, a short message: three fields with generous targets, intended to work from a sofa at 10pm.

04

Prices stated plainly

Every room lists its price and what is included, so the enquiry starts informed rather than tentative.
