1. The commitment
Front Door Studio wants this website—and every website it builds—to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever device, connection or assistive technology they use. The target for this site is WCAG 2.2 level AA.
2. What this site does
Body text is set at a minimum of 16–17px with strong contrast against the background. Headings follow a logical order. Interactive elements—links, buttons, the mobile menu and the FAQ—work with a keyboard and show a visible focus outline. Touch targets on mobile are at least 48px. Menus, prices and other essential information are real text, never images or PDFs. Animation is minimal, and the site respects the “reduce motion” setting in your device preferences. No information is conveyed by colour alone.
3. Known limitations
Some decorative placeholder graphics are simplified representations and are marked for assistive technology accordingly. Accessibility testing is ongoing; any further limitations found will be listed here honestly, with a note on when they will be fixed.
4. In client projects
The same standards are applied to client work: readable type, sufficient contrast, keyboard access, generous touch targets and content as real text. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not an optional extra.
5. Tell me what isn’t working
If any part of this website is difficult to use, please say so—plainly and in whatever format suits you—via the contact page. Reports are read by Ivan and answered within two working days, and genuine problems are fixed rather than filed.
