Bookings

An enquiry does not create a reservation. A stay is confirmed only when agreed in writing by the house. In a real launch, an illustrative deposit of one night would be requested at confirmation, with the balance settled at check-out.

Cancellations

In this illustrative policy, cancellations more than seven days before arrival release the deposit in full; within seven days, the deposit is retained unless the room can be re-let. Weather on the coast changes plans—a held date can usually be moved once without charge.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 3.00pm to 7.00pm; later arrivals can be arranged in advance. Check-out is by 11.00am. Luggage can be left from midday on arrival day and until 1.00pm after check-out.

The house

Guests are responsible for reasonable care of the room. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. Accidental damage should simply be mentioned—honest conversations are easier than surprises at check-out.

Privacy

This demonstration does not process real bookings, accept payments or transmit enquiry-form data. No personal information entered into the demonstration form is sent or retained.

Accessibility

The Garden Room is on the ground floor and the main entrance has one low threshold; the remaining rooms require stairs and there is no lift. This concept design is intended to meet WCAG 2.2 AA principles during implementation, but final compliance must be tested in the completed website.
